More than 600 scientific research studies conducted at over 200 universities and independent research institutions in thirty countries substantiate the benefits of Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme as documented in ‘Scientific Research on Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme—Collected Papers’, Volumes 1-6 (over 5,000 pages).

Nearly fifty of these research studies conducted over the past twenty-five years verify the unique effect and wide-ranging benefits produced by the Maharishi Effect. These studies have used the most rigorous research methods and evaluation procedures available in the social sciences, including time series analysis, which controls for weekly and seasonal cycles or trends in social data.
